Our team of compassionate speech-language pathologists is dedicated to helping your child communicate with confidence. Through playful sessions in a warm and welcoming environment, we provide exceptional evidence-based therapy that is both effective and meaningful.


We believe strong, trusting relationships between children, families, and therapists are the foundation of meaningful progress. We value close collaboration with families, supporting parents with practical strategies that extend progress beyond the therapy room.

Meet our Speech Language Pathologists

Chelsea Parkins

Chelsea Parkins is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (M.H.Sc., S-LP) who earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Ottawa in 2025. She is a registered member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ). Chelsea has always had a passion for working with children and finds great joy in helping them discover their voices and shine through confident, meaningful communication in a supportive and engaging environment.

She values supporting children across a wide range of speech and language goals, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, reading and writing development, and communication challenges related to autism spectrum disorder, among others. Chelsea is dedicated to continuously learning and refining her skills to provide the best possible support to her clients and their families through collaboration and care.

Emily Perron

Emily completed her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto in 2025. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Child Studies at Concordia University in 2023. She is a registered member of l’Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ). She offers services in both English and French, and she works with children and adolescents with varying communication needs.

Emily enjoys working with children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), along with children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She values interprofessional collaboration, as well as working closely with families to create sessions tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.

Emily’s experiences working in school settings has helped her gain a strong understanding of how to support a child’s speech and language development across multiple environments. Additionally, growing up with a brother on the autism spectrum provided her with personal insight on the positive impacts of early intervention. Emily is deeply committed to helping children and their families feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their communication journey!

Maria Tsirmbas

Maria is a Speech-Language Pathologist and a member in good standing of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) as well as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is passionate about helping children communicate and provides services in English, French, and Greek.

Maria has experience assessing and treating a range of communication challenges, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech, speech sound disorders, tongue thrusts, dyslexia and stuttering. She offers therapy in a supportive, engaging environment, incorporating a multi-sensory approach tailored to each client’s needs. Maria is also a mom and enjoys leading her “Baby Babble” mommy-and-baby classes.

In addition to her clinical work, Maria enjoys supervising graduate students in speech-language pathology and mentoring clinicians. With more than 10 years of experience in the field, she is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care to every client she supports. During sessions, you’ll often find her actively engaged, matching each child’s energy, following their lead, and incorporating their unique interests to create meaningful and motivating therapy experiences.

Isabella Mazzaferro

Isabella is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who earned her Master’s degree from the University of Ottawa in 2022. She supports children of all ages with a range of communication challenges and particularly enjoys working with children with speech sound disorders, developmental language disorders, dyslexia, and autism.

She is passionate about helping children build confidence in their communication and values strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. Isabella believes building a close relationship with families is key to meaningful progress within and beyond the therapy room. Her approach combines evidence-based practice with a warm and playful style, creating a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to participate.

In addition to her clinical work, Isabella enjoys supervising graduate students. She provides services in both English and French and is trained in the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework and Reading with TLC.
